MEET THE EXECUTIVE TEAM OF FPO

Sherri Taylor, Founder/CEO

Sherri Taylor, Founder/CEO is a devoted wife to Quincey Taylor, and a mother of two. Sherri Taylor has been working with children and parents for the past 19 years, first as a preschool teacher and now as a master teacher for the East Orange Early Childhood Program. She has also facilitated a number of workshops for both parents and teachers of early childhood. Mrs. Taylor is passionate about helping parents do all they can to ensure success for their children. She endeavors to achieve this by helping parents realize their full potential and help them tap into all available resources. Her passion has led her to conduct action research on promoting parent involvement. In doing so, she found that parents really are the key to student success; students benefit when their parents are supported. Sherri Taylor has advocated and fought for her own daughterʼs success. Her daughter, Tiana has been an honor roll student since she began school and is now in her 3rd year at Harvard Law School. In addition to that, Mrs. Taylor was a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in which she advocated for a one-year-old little girl in foster care. After many visits throughout the year, she was able to make recommendations to the court in the best interest of the child. She also mentored at-risk children through the organization, Youth Consultation Services (YCS).

Mrs. Taylor obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from New Jersey City University, a Masters Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Montclair State University and

also a certification in Supervision.
